The One Skill needed to change your life

I guarantee if you learn this skill your life will have a drastic improvement

It's taken me around the world.

From a small town in Australia to Madison Square Garden in NY.

What is this skill?

Building a growth mindset.

A growth mindset is a belief that you can improve your abilities through learning.

We aren’t born with a ceiling on our ability.

Development occurs in every stage of human life.

Humans never stop adapting.

To say reality is, we can’t improve, is silly.

It's not true.

A simple task such as writing is an incredible feat of skill development.

With a growth mindset, your view of the outside world will change.

Challenges and setbacks become opportunities for learning and growth.

Failures will no longer have a negative effect on your self-worth.

We know we can develop and overcome them.

This leads to a much more resilient person.

One who faces new challenges head-on.

Courage.

New opportunities for learning and development will start to appear.

Feedback will be taken as constructive criticism that we can learn from, rather than personal attacks.

This is a whole different life perspective.

A mindset of growth and learning will help you reach your full potential.

Here is a three-step process to develop a growth mindset.

Embracing Challenges and setbacks.

It can be confronting failing.

Scary.

But every failure is a step forward.

Let's embrace the opportunity to learn and grow as a human.

Seek out feedback

Improving alone is hard.

Some say impossible.

We must listen to our mentors.

Find people we respect and love.

Learn everything we can from them.

Listen.

Take notes.

Apply.

Self-appreciation and gratitude

Reflection is important.

Take notes on how far you’ve come.

How much you’ve grown.

Progress may feel slow at times.

But without looking back and being grateful for ourselves progress will always feel non-existent.

Physically pat yourself on the back.

Give yourself a high 5 in the mirror.

Gratitude will help you to continue to seek discomfort and feedback.

A growth mindset will change your life.

There may be ups and downs in our mindset shift.

But with the continued search for knowledge and effort, life will change.

Start today.
